Results
Results in English at both Key Stages are a key priority. Results are continuously climbing. In 2010 51.6% A*-C was achieved, an immense increase on 2009 where 37% gained A* - C and again on the previous year’s percentage of 33%. The department is dedicated to continuing this up-ward trend. At KS3 in 2010, 89.65% gained Level 5+ in comparison to 64.7% in the previous year. Results are expected to continue to rise steadily with a range of intervention strategies being offered in order to ensure pupil potential is met.
