Welcome to NCHS The Science College.  The school is part of the South Newcastle Federation which was formed in February 2010.  It comprises NCHS The Science College and Clayton Hall Business and Language College, both 11 – 16 comprehensives, and is led by a single governing body.  This relationship is based on a desire to improve the quality of education for our students.  We share good practice, support each other and benefit from each others strengths.  The students can now access a wider range of facilities and we offer even more extra curricular opportunities for the young people concerned.  More importantly it is working.  NCHS and Clayton students currently access more courses than ever before.  Academic standards and achievement in both schools is rising and students are leaving with better qualifications at 16.  Finally each school is a happy and positive environment where young people succeed.  Join us.
