SSCO
We work very closely with the local feeder primary schools offering curriculum sessions, festivals and competitions. These take place both at the primary schools and NCHS The Science College and Clayton Hall business and Language College.
High school pupils from different year groups support the sessions in which they develop their leadership skills. They do a fantastic job and are great ambassadors for the school.
The curriculum sessions offered are: Gymnastics, Dance, Danish Long ball, Cheerleading and Trampolining.
We also run master classes where year 5 & 6 pupils get to have a go on the climbing wall.
The links with the primary schools are very strong and we feel that this helps the pupils with the transition process when they join us at the start of year 7.
