Welcome to the English Department.
The English department consists of five dedicated members of staff who firmly believe that all students have the capacity and desire to succeed in their learning. Our department thrives on team-work both with staff and pupils alike. Relationships are built on mutual respect and a united sense of vision for future success. We are a forward-looking department, keen to engage in new concepts and ideas that will help and encourage students flourish in their learning.
The English Department is situated on the ground floor of Block One. The department also has a separate Resources and Departmental Base in which a considerable range of fiction sets, books, boxes and support materials are organised. Interactive whiteboards and projectors enable ICT and media to be used effectively within lessons as an interactive tool for learning.
